The All-New 2016 Volkswagen Lineup

The 2.0-liter turbodiesel is available in both the Jetta and the Passat and provides 150 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque and above of 44 highway mpg for both models. The bigger Passat is just as fun to drive and offers remarkable performance, a spacious interior and upscale styling.

The new Volkswagen Touareg comes in a powerful 3.6-liter V6 engine that makes 280 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. The TDI model comes with a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that makes 240 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. Each powertrain can haul up to 7,716 pounds, which is impressive for a mid-size SUV. Overall, the receptive steering and smooth handling effectively complements the Touareg’s acceleration and power.

Appearance

The sporty new Jetta has more cabin and trunk space than its competitors, while the 17-inch wheels give it a polished appearance. The interior offers new amenities, modern materials and comfort. The dual-zone automatic climate control, 60/40-split rear seats, center touchscreen, ambient lighting and push-button start make the Jetta an attractive choice.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gives the Jetta, Passat and Touareg great overall scores.
